Yes, better integration is needed.  Don't take "must go" too literally.

Out of 142 dotfiles in my $HOME, .civclient.cfg is the only .cfg; you
have convinced me.  Feel free to modify my patches as you see fit;
.civclientrc is probably a better savefile name.
