Sun exec defects to Red Hat [1]
Karen Tegan-Padir, a former Sun VP with intimate knowledge of Sun's
application server plans, has joined the Red Hat team, becoming the second
executive in the last three months to leave Sun for a Linux outfit. David
Berlind sees several implications in this move, including the fact that Red
Hat is getting serious about success on the desktop. Indeed, it's getting
harder not to take desktop Linux seriously.
