A quick search at freshmeat shows several options. A few are commercial
ware, at least one is free (freeCAD), and I see a couple that are free
(beer) for non-commercial use (CYCAS, OCTREE).

I have no idea how well they work, tho... If those don't help, I'd try
google or google groups (newsgroups are often the best way to find 'obscure'
software titles, in my experience).

Subject: [aclug-L] 3D CAD program for linux

I've seen a few people post about CAD on this user group and wondered if
there were any decent open source 3D CAD apps out there for linux. We ar=
e
looking at providing a CAD app with our distribution (CPUBuilders OS), bu=
t
since I have no experience with CAD, I have no way of knowing which apps
are decent and which are crap.

Thanks,
