I recently had a similar problem where my computer did strange things
after being up for more than 6 hours. The power supply was the
culprit. When I replaced the 300W supply with a 400W supply the
problems went away. A 300W supply should have been adequate to handle
all the devices but evidently power supplies are rated for service
other than 24-7. KGE doesn't help the situation with their
inconsistant line power. You should see the transients too. It is a
wonder that anything runs which requires 24-7 power. Evidently motors
and such are conservatively rated which allows them to work under
harsher conditions than is actually required.
