Before today the best suggestion was the buy the RedHat professional
additional ($120 aprox), which comes with a licensed secure server and a
discount on a certificate. 

But as of today RSA has released its encryption algorithm into the
public domain, so you can freely use apache-SSL as far as I understand.
For debian you can d/l it by pointing apt to any of the non-us mirrors
(stupid US encryption laws), for red hat you'll have look for it. 

I think you'll still need a certificate signed, so the people know your
you, which I thought was $100.

However I am nowhere near an expert, and could be wrong. You can look
for apps on www.freshmeat.net or try searching www.google.com/linux.  

Let us know what you find out, maybe we could go over for this at a
future meeting
