That's not quite correct.  There's been an ongoing discussion on the linux-admin
and linux-net discussion lists about an exploit in PINE that allows someone to
run a script when the attachment is using a non default character set.  I'll see
if I can post the relevant messages here so people can get an idea of what is
going on and how it was accomplished.
