fyi, Quake 1-3 all have linux engines and the Quake3Demo Test avilable at
ftp://ftp.nayr.com/pub/quake3 just came out with a ungodly cool Demo that
will run on a lan on 4 or 5 badass maps and it is free ;-)... and starcraft
under wine is ugly and not stable, i did what linuxgames.org told me to do
and it did not work stable, exactly like the site warned... and something
that might be cool, setup a NT machine /w backoffice on the lan and get this
version of doom from freshmeat.net and as we play all the monsters are
Processes on the NT machine, so you kill a monster you might crash the NT
box!! but dont get killed by solitare ;-P... anywase i feel im pretty
knowladgable on current linux gamming, if you need any help get ahold of
me....
