I don't own one, but it was widely publicized as a "Linux Compatible & 
Supported"
modem. It works with ALL operating systems. Read the box or the web page for 
more
info.

Also, a way to tell a "real" modem from a win type is to see if hardware
requirements include the x386, x486 at 33MHz. "WIN" types run on a Pentium 
100MHz
of better.
