I am thinking of building a dual processor machine to run
Linux on. Is there any big differences between the various
distributions in their suitability for dealing with a SMP
environment? I'm fairly used to Red Hat, but if another
distro is better suited I would sure rather use the best
one for the task.

On another SMP note, does Linux use both processors with
most all software or does software have to be written
specifilally to accomodate SMP as, I understand, it does
with NT?

Are there any major drawbacks to a dual processor machine
under Linux?

As always, thanks a bunch,

Wayne
