I have two on board serial ports.  and a PnP modem.

onboard ports are assigned ttys0 and 2.  I am trying to assign my modem as 
ttys1 or even three.  I have config'd it as 0,1,2, and 3.  Each time I get 
an error with isapnp..."fatal error port already assigned."  I have checked 
the /proc directory, and each of the files are blank.  I am at my wits end 
on configuring a modem.  Linux 5.0 and 5.2 each configured the modem with 
modest problems.  Linux 6.0 refuses to even try!
