I've been using PPP under Linux (RH 5.2) for a while now. Recently I
noticed that sometimes I suddenly get disconnected from the net for no
reason. On looking at the log messages from pppd I noticed that the last
message was

pppd[223]: exec /sbin/in.identd : No such file or directory

However, when I looked at my inetd.conf file, I do see an entry for
in.identd. But, I don't have this daemon anywhere in my file system. I
built my system right off the official CD set from Red Hat and I don't
remember messing with the /sbin or any other system binary directories.
Any clues as to what's going on. In case I need in.identd, where do I get
it?

TIA
