The 5th field tells dump(8) whether or not that filesystem needs
to be dumped.

The 6th field tells fsck what order the filesystems should be checked at
reboot.  Your / partition should be 1, and any others 0 or >2

Both these fields can be absent, in which case 0 will be assumed for them.
