i'm sure this is nothing new but how well does this work with linux

===============================
Dual Analog (Shotgun) Technology

We also now support the new Dual Analog (Shotgun) technology. This permits you to
make two analog dial up connections and bond them together to double your
bandwidth and speed. If you use two 56K modems, you can download at up to 112K!
This dual analog service is available now as our Super ISDN Account for $49.95 per
month.

A dual analog connection works real well. If you have a typical home situation
with two telephone lines, one for the computer, and one for voice calls, if you
get a Diamond Supra Sonic II Modem then you can set up the computer line to be the
primary, and the voice line as secondary. When you call into the Internet the
computer line is used first, and the voice line is only activated when the primary
line is being used to capacity. This is called bandwidth on demand and works real
well. It only ties up both telephone lines when needed. If both lines are in use,
and your bandwidth requirements decrease, then the second line is released.
Another very nice feature of the Sonic II modem is its ability to intrepret a call
waiting tone, and release the second line if there is an incoming call. With this
feature, you can use both lines for 112K, and never miss an incoming voice call!

Dual connections are also supported with Windows 98, and Windows 95 if you have
installed the Microsoft Windows 95 OSR2 dial up networking upgrade. The dual
analog technology works with any two installed modems, thereby providing the
combined bandwidth of both modems, but without the features of bandwidth on
demand.

Oh I've slipped the surly bonds of dos
and danced the skies on LINUX silvered wings.
