VariCAD(Czech Republic) has released a new version of its
mechanical engineeringCAD system 'VariCAD 7.0-1.0'. New features
include Postscript output to printers, 3D solid surfaces, new tools
for measuring in 3D space, automatic change of 2D documentation
after changes in 3D space, and the ability to export 3D objects
into IGES. VariCAD can communicate with rendering software and
such finite-element software such as Comos.
  Free trial and demonstration versions are available at:
www.varicad.com.  Prices range from $299 to $499 for Linux and
from $499 to $799 for Windows 95/98/NT versions.
