No, just try the three of them.  Actually, just replace the -sDEVICE, -r,
and -d options (collectively) with the @.... option.  So the full command
becomes gs @stc.upp, possibly with -o or input filename arguments.

I understand, but perhaps it will work at 360x360 but not 720x720.  (To be
sure, 720x720 on an ink jet is higher than is realistically possible with
the technology, for B&W at least, but it is still possible that it could
look better than 360x360.)  This is on the theory that a printer that works
to produce good-looking output, but doesn't to produce better looking
output, should be set to produce good-looking output until the problem can
be isolated.  Since you sounded desperate, I am just suggesting things to
try to produce acceptable output for your class. :-)
