yeah, i realize it... i've already used Licq a bit, but after my
re-install of linux, it's really f-ing up on me...anyway, i've been
using Gicq, which is pretty kewl, but the stupid msgs keep popping up,
rather than that nifty yellow flashing note on regular ICQ... i want to
try Kicq, which is still in alpha, but it says it requires QT 1.30 ... i
installed QT 1.40 when i installed KDE...how can i get this Kicq to work
w/ 1.40? it's the most "true" looking one i've found... just don't know
how reliable...

i've really enjoyed ICQ so far...on linux and win9x...except when their
server is sucking big time... oh well...it's quicker/easier than
e-mail...and it's nice when you're planning a newell's trip or a trip to
the Bohemian Bean Co... : ^ )

thanx!
