[aclug-L] xplaymidi and /dev/sequencer

Hi
My box is Redhat5.0. and I configured the sound card (sound blaster 16
).
It works fine with command:      cat   filename.au > /dev/audio
but  when I try runing
        xplaymidi  filename.mid
and I get message:

Playmidi 2.3 Copyright (C) 1994-1996 Nathan I. Laredo
This is free software with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY.
For details please see the file COPYING.
open /dev/sequencer: Device not configured

Please tell me how to configure /dev/sequencer.
