This is almost a question related to mutt.

A workaround is to create a maildir dedicated to the "to home" purpose.
Something like

  $ mkdir -p ~/Mail/{cur,new,tmp}
  $ ln -s ~/Mail/cur ~/incomming

and decode-copy to this maildir where email have to be marked as read.
