Hi

Let me jump in the discussion too here and raise an issue with how
offlineimap will generate X-Header in the message.

offlineimap generates a different X-header for each message. This can
lead to big issues when working with an IMAP server like Microsoft
Exchange. Exchange will allocate a unique ID for each X-header it has
detected. There is a maximum number of 65355 property ID.

offlineimap could use a unique X-Header for each message but with a
different property.

There is no need to put the unique ID within the X-Header definition.

Does anyone knows why such design implementation was chosen?

Thanks
Jean-Yves
