Hi all,

I plan to use OfflineIMAP in a setup where emails gets expired to an archive
maildir directory. I don't want this archive to be copied over to the IMAP,
just stay locally.

In my local directory I created an a maildir folder called 'Archive'. This
doesn't get copied over to the IMAP server, which is fine and exactly how I
want it. However, is there a risk that future versions of OfflineIMAP either
copies it over (along with its contents) to the IMAP server or even deletes it
from my localdir?

I also use the excellent script/setup mentioned here:

http://lists.complete.org/offlineimap@xxxxxxxxxxxx/2005/09/msg00011.html.gz

I was thinking I should add 'Archive' to the folderfilter list as a precaution,
would that make things futureproof?

cheers,

--david.
