Duplicated mails

Another problem I ran into was that offline insists on pulling down
duplicates of some emails. Deleting the duplicate locally and then
syncronizing works, but is irritating!
Anyone else running into this problem?

courier imap 1.4.3 on the server (Debian woody)
offlineimap 4.0.2 on the client (Debian unstable)
