OfflineIMAP status

Hello,

Time for a quick update on Twisted OfflineIMAP.

The good news is: OfflineIMAP using Twisted is now in a usable, workable
state.

The rewrite has been progressing slower than I expected due to lack of time
on my part, but the new version is now capable of a full synchronization
across one or more folders, and all features of the TTY UI are working
(including autorefresh and keepalive).

That leaves various bug stomping, and work on the other UIs.

I intend to post an alpha-quality OfflineIMAP-with-twisted on the website
before too long. When it reaches beta quality, I will begin making 4.99.x
releases as I did before.

In the interim, if you are interested in following developments, check out:

That is also the URL to a Subversion repository, so if you have Subversion,
you can check it out and get a full buildable tree to work with.

If you do that, I suggest you follow the offlineimap-commits list.  It
carries notifications of changes to the Subversion tree, as well as my log
entries, which will sometimes be of the form "implemented keepalive but
broke syncing for now" followed by "syncing fixed" in a few hours :-)
