Hello,

Here's the OfflineIMAP roadmap:

With 4.0, there is going to be a minor change to the configuration file
format, but I am intending to write an automatic conversion routine.

Features slated for implementation with 4.0.0 include:
 * CRAM-MD5 authentication support
 * Graceful login failure handling including re-prompting for
   a password
 * More internal code reorganizations
 * Per-account mbnames recorder (rather than globally)
 * New configuration file layout & conversion utility. This will help
   with the per-account mbnames and the filtering project.
 * Greater debugging support

Features slated for implementation with 4.1.0 include:
 * Per-message filtering capability, bidirectionally:
   + Ability to exclude IMAP messages from download
   + Ability to exclude Maildir messages from upload
   + Ability to "delete message first, ask questions later" -- for instance,
     for spam, don't just exclude it from download, but actually delete
     it from the IMAP server.
   + Ability to use full-fledged Python expressions to write filter rules.
   + Depending on the extent to which this effects the entire code,
     this may bump the version number to 5.0.0 instead.
