No, it would have required a very thin hook applied to two tabs on the left 
side of the front.  I pushed in on the tabs as I pried on the front when I 
should have pulled on them.

Anyway, it's obviously designed so you take off the side first, then the 
front is easy.  I was able to repair the damage I did, but glad it was my 
own box.
