[linux-help] Long time no chat!!!! Wanting to install RH 7.3 again...

I am getting the gumption to install RH 7.3 over WinXP again. The problems I 
had last time were sound card, video, and the cooling fan that automatically 
turns on when the MB gets too hot. 

Sound Card> Conexant AC-Link Audio
Video> S3 Graphics Twister Gateway

As far as power management is concerned, haven't the foggiest. I already tried 
talking to Gateway themselves, but they said that they do not support Linux. 
When is the next Linux install???? I will try to be present. I would really 
like to see a successful installation of Linux on my laptop. Thanks!!!
