Either Ctrl-Alt-F1, then log in as root, or perhaps easier, when logged into
a shell prompt in KDE, type 'su -'. It will then ask for your root
password.

Floppy disk tip #3: Do not fold diskettes unless they do not fit into the
drive. "Big" Diskettes may be folded and used in "Little" drives.
