Going back to what Ann said about XP Pro. XP Pro can actually be installed on
multiple PC's and that is pretty much why the price is higher than the Home
Edition. XP Home must be installed on one pc only, or you will be running a 30
day trial instead. About the only thing I like about XP and office XP is the
ability to do speech-to-text and text-to-speech. When one of the office apps is
installed, it will also instead the MS SAR 5 speech engine which is very
good!!! Not much training is involved, but there is a downfall. You can only
use it office programs. There a re no voice commands for START or MY COMPUTER
and etc. 8-( Anywho, just that I would make that a little clearer. I do have a
burned copy (somewhere) of XP Pro and have ran it on about 3 or 4 different
machines with no problems. Well, there my info download for the night.

BTW, this is a relly nice LUG I have come across. It's nice to have an OS group
that is very supportive. Thanks a bunch!!!
