If I were using LILO, how would I reset LILO config, and how do I write the
boot record?  Just rewrite lilo.conf to point the loader to be on the new
disk before taking off the old one, run lilo once, and reboot with new disk?

I've seen some more complicated ways to do it, but that has always worked
for
me. IIRC there's even a HOW-TO on the subject.
