look on updates.redhat.com and www.rpmfind.net. 

The problem is that most of the newer rpms from redhat (not the ones in the
6.1 on updates.red...com) come in the rpm 4 format which rpm 3.0.4 and
earlier will not work. 

For glibc 2.1 distros (I think 6.x are all 2.1) mandrake cooker is a good
source. (on rpmfind)

If all else fails, get the source and recompile it.
