[linux-help] why there is a warning message after updating the glibc.2.1

Recently, I updated the glibc-2_1_94-3_i686.rpm in RedHat Linux 7.0
because my matlab can not be run correctly in Linux 7.0. From the
website :
http://www.mathworks.com/support/solutions/data/26841.shtml , You will
know the problem.
After I use the rpm to update glibc-2_1_94-3_i686.rpm, there is
another problem, i.e., when I use the f77 to compile my fortran program,
there is warning message, such as:
/home/wangxm/tm_rvsl/f77 sbmv.f
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-redhat-linux/2.96/libg2c.a(open.o): In function
`f_open':
open.o(.text+0x4e6): the use of `tempnam' is dangerous, better use
`mkstemp'
But when I run the my program generated by the fortran complier, it
works well. Does any body know how to deal with this problem or is this
a big problem?
Thanks
