with a minimal amount of effort i can configure netscape mail or kde's
kmail and
have them sending/receiving mail.

although it can't send/receive mail at this point, mutt appears to work
right out of the box.;
i can even read the mail in the kmail or netscape mail folders!!

from a minimalist point of view, what needs to be in muttrc to get
multiple pop servers and an smtp server to work?

i've looked at mutt.org and some newbie mutt pages, but they all seem to
include the features i want
to work towards -- separating mailing lists, mailboxes, aliases, etc --
currently i just want mutt to send mail from one server and receive mail
from multiple pop's..

is there such a thing as a minimalist configuration for mutt? any
guidance would be appreciated.
