I have not had the first bit of trouble with Mandrake 7.0 and have used
it since the day it came out. What is it you downloaded, I missed that?
Can't say the same trying to get it installed on my laptop which is a
Toshiba Satellite Pro 430CDT. The cdrom just doesn't see it and using
the 7.0 boot disk lets me start the install and then I get an error
right after selecting the US keyboard. I was able to install Mandrake
6.1 using a retail package. I only have 16 mg of ram and the computer is
next to useless it is so slow. Got to get some ram. 8 1/2 minutes to
open StarOffice doesn't get it. :) :)
