linuxconf utility gives you the capability to configure multiple adapters in 
the same machine.  The proxy information can be setup through there also, 
but can be setup through software in your browser.
I just got my Redhat 6 going through a corporate firewall to RoadRunner 
cable service.  What the company doesn't know won't hurt them any!!!
