Hello Markus

The file msvcrt.dll is the basic C-runtime library which is used by programs 
written in Visual C (and that are a lot).
You can first check the version you have by rightclicking on the existing one 
and look at the properties. If the one from HPComm is newer you can install it 
without problems.

You also may want to make a backup of your existing dll in case the new one 
makes trouble.
