Following is a list of bugs I've found :

1) Crashing:
    a. Start program
    b. create folder and leave the default name "New folder"
    c. Now create another folder and again, leave the default name "New
folder(1)"
    d. Now rename the second folder you created with invalid names (try
putting an asterisk or something in it).
    e. Repeat previous step until it crashes (shouldnt take long)

2) More crashing
    a. Repeat task 1 until you get to the step d.
    b. Highlight the second folder and press delete

3) Drag and Drop a bit strange
Dragging a file from the pc window pane into the calculator will
copy the file over but will not update the calcs window immediately. If
you drag a second file though it will update the calc window with the
first file you dropped. It seems to be one file behind all the time.
Presing F5 (refresh) doesnt update the window properly either.

4) Wait till the calc times out while in server mode. Now try and
transfer a file fromthe pc to the calc. Wait for a few errors to show on
the transfer dialog before cancelling. Now wait until an error
eventually pops up. Click on the error message to clos the box and now
notice how the file you were trying to transfer now appears inthe calc
window. This is odd not only because the file obviously was not
transferred but in that it immediately updates the calc window as
opposed when a file really is transferred and not updated in the window
(as noted in task 3).

5) Renaming folders does not work. Actually it DOES work but the name is
not reflected in the tree view. If you loon in explorer you can see that
the folder has been renamed successfully but it stays on the old name in
hpcomm.

6) SUGGESTION: I think you should put in a "go up" entry in the files
pane (like in standard windows file views). Or maybe a tool bar icon. It
would be nice so that the user is not forced to move the mouse to the
tree view just to change up a directory.

7) The FDP DLL which is called to upload a new ROM is still using the
"Vger" project name. Not only that but the icon in the window is
apparently a copyrighted "Star Trek" image (picture of the enterprise).
Also should there be so many log messages? From a usability point of
view, this part of hpcomm is very obviously a tack on and should be
upgraded a little to suit the rest of the program in terms of look and
feel.

HP38 COMM.
1) Corrupt copy/paste images
    a. Capture a screen
    b. Zoom in twice (more then once).
    c. Copy the image into the clipboard
    d. Paste into your favourite windows app and note the corrupted
image.

Note that this test was not done on the HP48/49 version of hpcomm so
it could be suffering from the same problem.
