[Freeciv] IRC?

I felt like a game, so I looked around for some players. The metaserver had
a couple games running, but no activity on the games that weren't. I tried
the IRC 'net listed on freeciv.org, but all four servers were down.

Is this normal? EFnet's #freeciv is held by one bot and has one idler, so
it's not really useful.

Where could I scare up some players?
