Log Message:
Support gif, jpg and png image formats as well as xpm. The default is still to
use xpm, however if you set the freeciv.datadir to a location containing
images of one of the supported formats, you'll be able to use them. Tested
this out on the data supplied with the win32 client (which uses png).
