Don't we usually put releases on sourceforge?
We used to do hosting only on ftp.freeciv.org. This got overloaded after the 2.0 release, so we co-hosted on sourceforge. But after freeciv.org had some downtime problems I moved all hosting to sourceforge. So the files should be on ftp.freeciv.org but all links go to sourceforge so they must be uploaded there as well.
