A german Freeciv user was unable to start the freshly installed Freeciv
2.0.3 GTK2 version downloaded from our website, via the desktop link.
In turned out that the directory entry of the link is pointing to
c:\programme\freeciv-2.0.3-gt\etc\pango
Removing /etc/pango from it solved the problem.
