You cant have a goal set, and Research None with my patch, if you have 
selected neither a goal or a research, and  the turn ends, some research is 
lost, but i wasnst sure, if that was intentional or not. I can try and fix 
that too if its a bug.

So, the first patch was more an additional feature, not a fix for the bug.
