Hello. I have found a bug in the freeciv-2.0 third beta and wish to
report it. The localized Russian version does not work.
When I try and launch the game in Russian, the main menu opens. After
that, when I try to start a game, it crashes before the "select
nation" dialog pops up. When I switch to English, the game works
perfectly.
When the game crashes, it outputs the following line in the console:
"1: Translated name is too long, truncating: Босния и Герцеговина
civclient: shared.c:603: check_strlen: Assertion `0' failed.
Aborted
"
I am using GNU/Linux 2.6.9 Gentoo 2004.2, KDE 3.3, Xorg 6.7
If you need any additional information feel free to e-mail me. Thank
you very much.
