Isn't it a well known problem with client's configuration files ?
CVS version can't read 1.14.1 configuration files, because event order  
was changed. (Sorry cannot find PR#, but i'm sure it is somewhere)

Quick and dirty solution: rm ~/.civclientrc

BTW Is there a method to search a string inside correspondence in RT?
