Sounds like a good idea, but I have one concern: currently I run
Freeciv on an 68030/50 with no graphics card. It's not fast but it's
not too bad either.
Would a unified client structure be able to run at a similar speed to
the MUI client?
I know I should upgrade, but Amiga hardware is very hard to get and
expensive here in New Zealand, especially graphics cards.

I shall experiment with this.
I'm using SAS/C 6.3 so maybe that is the problem. What are the
chances of converting the Amiga port to GCC?
