Freeciv was quite stable till now. There are only two major bugs I
know of (6819 and CM in the server). The remaining issues are quite
moderate (too slow, too big, memory leak, no/bad docu, ...).

This is going to change now ;) The delta patch which implementes a new
network protocol got applied. The patch is huge. Freeciv has about
300k LOC and 700+ files. The patch changes 38k lines and touches 130
files including all important ones.

While most of the changes are simple the patch is surely not bug
free. So please expect that you see errors which you haven't since
Freeciv went from alpha to beta state some years ago. Such errors may
for example that you see units which aren't there or won't see units
which are there. Also not all client functions may work.

Please also note that only the Xaw, GTK1 and GTK2 client got
converted. The other client will not even compile.

Please report all these errors. Please include the usual information:
 - what is the error (message)?
 - can it be reproduced?
 - how can it be reproduced?
 - if it can't be reproduced please state what you did before you got
the error and guess what may caused it.

Thanks for your patience.
