In an autogame the sanitycheck !pplayer->is_dying sometimes fails.

I think kill_player isn't checked often enough in autogames, so killed-off
barbarians may go a while without being detected.  Or is this assertion
overzealous?

This probably relates to how barbarians killed by the loss of their leader
hang around until the end of the turn.
