Yes, it is gone. If you don't want to fix it in 1.14, we should notice
this in BUGS:

"In the XAW/XAW3d client, the -t options for the tileset to use
 sometimes does not work. Use --tiles instead."

BTW:

1: Client does not support isometric tilesets. Using default tileset

I think it should not dump core in this case.
