[Freeciv-Dev] windows version (latest beta) of freeciv 1.12.4 is unstable! (PR#1576)

You can get more debug info if you start the client from a dos box:
civclient -d 3 -l logfile

Does the latest cvs snapshot 
(available at
http://www.informatik.uni-bremen.de/~akemnade/freeciv-win-cvs.zip)
have the same problem?
