I've uploaded a new version of general-topologies into ftp://ftp.freeciv.org/freeciv/incoming/general-topologies-5.diff.gz.

Since the previous version, I've updated the patch for current CVS (Jan 1st, 2002) and fixed a few nasty bugs. As far as I can tell everything should work correctly now.

Just as a reminder, this patch is not intended for inclusion into CVS. It is just a quick hack to (1) set up the topology interface, allowing just about all topology-specific code to be hidden and (2) make any other necessary cleanups. I will continue to propose individiual elements of the necessary changes for inclusion into CVS; usually after taking a look at how Ross's corecleanups touch that code.
