Most of the platforms by virtue of the fact gcc/g++ have been ported
to them. I'm not sure about the Amiga though.
As a side note; object oriented (OO) programming is possible in C,
GTK+ is proof of this fact. If the plan to embed a scripting
language such as scheme via guile (as stated on the webpage), this
might relieve the pressures felt now. Though like C++ it is no
panacea.
