Hmm... considering the fuss you people are making with this i guess
gtk+-2.0 will (finally) arrive soon. Looking at ftp.gtk.org:

-rw-r--r-- 1 ftpuser ftpusers 7106051 Sep 4 09:33 gtk+-1.3.7.tar.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 ftpuser ftpusers 7321469 Sep 19 03:53 gtk+-1.3.8.tar.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 ftpuser ftpusers 7288649 Sep 25 14:03 gtk+-1.3.9.tar.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 ftpuser ftpusers 7579320 Oct 25 14:10 gtk+-1.3.10.tar.gz

I guess you people have a point. Release rate is increasing. Anyone has
any ideas about what is the gtk+-2.0 release date?

BTW are these releases stable enough that we can use them right now? Last
time i checked (1.3.6 IIRC) they weren't. testgtk crashed/spewed vomit too
much for my taste.

What disgusts me is that they keep increasing the required library/package
count. Oh well...

IF the current releases are stable enough all patches shall be reviewed
for inclusion and we'll uprate the gtk+ client to support the new API.
